We looked at at portraits of families through the ages.
Year 4: Roman Art
Art exploring Roman mosaics and emperors as well as drama exploring what happened in Pompeii
Year 3: Trip to Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health
The children were invited to a workshop at the RCHCP (Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health) to learn about the importance of healthy diets and how hospital can be designed in the future. In the afternoon, in groups the children designed a hospital for the future and presented their designs to people who work at RCHCP.
Year 3 Olympic inspired veggie wraps
During our Olympic Values topic, the children designed and made an Olympic Veggie Wrap. After learning about different food types and discussing what type of food an Olympic athlete would need, each designed, made a wrap and wrote a detailed recipe.
