Key Stage 2 Attainment and Progress 2018

In 2016 the way children are assessed changed. National curriculum levels were replaced by new, more challenging expectations. Children are assessed through a national test in Reading, mathematics, and Grammar, punctuation and spelling, and are assessed by teachers in writing. These scores are converted into and Average Scaled Score (ASS) with a score of 100 indicating a child has reached the expected standard.
